Event Details
Join the Pleasantville Queer Alliance for our September community meetup—and bring a bag, because we’re hosting a Community Clothing Swap! This event is free and open to the public.
We invite you to connect after the long summer, refresh your wardrobe, try new styles, share resources, and support the LGBTQIA+ community in the area.
There will be light snacks and coffee available, and you’re welcome to bring something to share if you’d like. We’ll also have a craft activity for kids, so feel free to bring the whole family!
We encourage attendees to bring gently used items in all sizes and gender presentations, including;
Adult clothing
Teen clothing
Children’s/Baby clothing
Outerwear
Bags, totes, and purses
Shoes
Jewelry and accessories
Items for textile recycling
Everything will be organized by size so folks can browse and take what they’d like. Unused hygiene products, school supplies, toys are also welcome!
There’s no need to bring items in order to participate—take what you need or want, and give what you can. First come, first served and all remaining items will be donated or recycled through 914 Cares.
Community exchange is a powerful way to support one another, reduce waste, and try something new. We can’t wait to see you there!
No registration required but RSVPs are appreciated. Please email PvilleQueerAlliance@gmail.com to RSVP or with any questions!
