A 20-minute fun interactive lap-sit storytime that will include songs, bouncing rhymes, and a few very short stories.  This experience gives babies an opportunity to socialize and caregivers a time to share. Recommended for newborns–12 months.   

*Registration is not required! Please join us for one storytime session a day to allow other families to join in the fun. 

This interactive storytime uses finger plays, action rhymes, songs, and stories to encourage an enjoyment of books and to stimulate early listening, learning, and speaking skills. Recommended for ages 1–2 ½.

The storytime will include songs, fingerplays, stories, movement activities and a simple craft. For children ages 2 to 5 years. Family Storytime will be offered on Thursdays from January 9 to March 27, excluding February 20.

Please join the Village Bookstore and the Mount Pleasant Library as they join forces for an in-person Local Author Book Club! Participants will discuss the book and will later be joined by the author to continue the discussion.  

This month's selection is  Someone Just Like You by Meredith Schorr.
