Greg Nicolai-Paintings

A Year of Abstractions’ is the first art exhibit of Pleasantville native Gregory Nicolai.  In just over a year of painting, Gregory has studied and experimented stylistically with Abstract Expressionism and draws inspiration from the likes of De Kooning, Mitchell, Rothko, and Pollack. Gregory utilizes a blend of color and shapes, working with a loose hand and brush, pulling together a free flow of feeling and detail in hopes of making something both unique and aesthetic.
