Celebrating National Poetry Month

In her new poetry collection, Wonder Wheel, Harriet Shenkman captures the circular nature of life.  She recalls both her ancestors and the rearing of her children in these poems, as well as unpredictability.  Please register HERE.

Harriet Shenkman is the current Poet-in-Residence at the JCC of Mid-Westchester. She is a Professor Emerita at City University of New York. Her poetry awards include the Women’s National Book Association Annual Contest and the Women Who Write International Poetry Contest.  Joining her will be poet Suzanne Cleary.

This program is a collaboration between Mount Pleasant, Chappaqua, Harrison, Warner, Pound Ridge, Yorktown, Tuckahoe, and Mount Kisco Public Libraries.
