Worldwide Knit in Public Day

Bring your knitting and a chair and join us on the front lawn of the Library. International Knit in Public Day is celebrated on the second Saturday of June each year. The objective is to showcase knitting as an enjoyable activity to partake in for all ages and a fun and enjoyable activity that you can be proud of.  

Worldwide Knit in Pubic Day was founded in 2005 by Danielle Landes and remains the world's largest knitting event.  

In the event of inclement weather the event will be canceled.
