Event Details:
Humankind evolved having a symbiotic relationship with plants, and through their inherent medicinal properties, we can gain knowledge (and foresight) into how to heal our bodies. At the beginning of the 21st century, we are rediscovering our herbal roots. The leaves, twigs, bark, berries, flowers, and roots of traditional medicine are ready and available to serve us in the city too. This introductory program will cover terminology, body systems, 17 (or more) herbs for your cupboard. The how-to of preparation and dosages, case studies, and ample time for questions. Bring a notebook!
